Trees

Trees where they actually stand

Trees change how a street reads. Free map data on its own knows only a fraction of them, so we added two more sources.

Where the trees come from

CAD ATLAS combines three sources. OpenStreetMap has the trees volunteers have mapped. Cities around the world publish official tree registers with millions of surveyed trees. Our AI canopy detection reads current aerial imagery to find the trees nobody wrote down.

Checked before export

Every tree is checked automatically before it reaches your file. Duplicates from overlapping sources are removed, trees that would stand on a roof are dropped, and the spacing has to look like real planting.

In your drawing

Trees come as CAD blocks on their own layer, in three sizes. The plan and the 3D model use the same positions, and in 3D every tree stands on the terrain. Swap the block for your own symbol once and every tree in the plan updates.
